Steel Framed Residential Appartment

The G+2 Storeyed Residential Project at Torangallu, Bellary was undertaken by Jindal Vijaynagar Steel Limited for accommodations its employees. The first full fledged apartment building is made in reality by M/s Fourcees Project Services Private Ltd, Mumbai. Built up sections were used for structural framing. The site is located where the day time temperature rises upto 45 Deg. Centigrade. The external walls consisted of 2 separate skins, but interconnected structurally, which resulted with the building being cooler by 6 to 8 deg. Insulated steel doors with steel frame and steel glazed windows were used. Deck spans made out of 20 gauge GI sheets, not only acted as bottom reinforcement for the slabs but as a permanent shuttering for the floor slabs. For aesthetical consideration the top roof has been provided with pitched roof using specially profiled color coated sheets. The underside of the roof is provided with under deck insulation and gypsum board false ceiling to provide elegant and immaculate looks from inside.
